Job summary

Matrix Design Group seeks a Sr. Test and Validation Technician to ensure quality and reliability of our software and hardware solutions.

You will collaborate with product design to develop testing frameworks, create test environments, and implement automated tests on-site at our Newburgh facility. The role emphasizes testing across functional, performance, and security dimensions, with opportunities to improve processes and integrate CI pipelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of proven experience as a Test Technician or similar role.
• Experience with high voltage and AC/DC Power 800V+ desirable.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, NI software/hardware, and test scripting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Develop a comprehensive testing framework and define testing parameters.
• Implement testing framework to monitor, document results and troubleshoot.
• Develop test environments and test cases for software and electrical systems.
• Build automated testing systems to enable regular testing of products.
• Identify test scenarios, test data, and test cases to cover functionality.
