Job summary

Matrix Design Group LLC is seeking a Test and Validation Software Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of software and hardware solutions. The role is based in our home office in Newburgh, IN, and is not remote.

You will develop test environments, automate testing, and collaborate with software and hardware engineers to validate product features against requirements. The candidate will lead test planning, execute functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Five or more years of proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role, preferably in sensors and imaging, controls, and software development.
• Experience with high voltage and AC/DC power 800V+. (Desirable)
• Experience with Hardware, Firmware, and Software and Apps Testing.
• Proficient in LabVIEW and National Instrument Software and Hardware, such as Data Acquisition Systems DAQ.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and quality assurance principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Develop a comprehensive testing framework and define testing parameters based on input from the product design team.
• Implement the testing framework to monitor the process, document the results, and troubleshoot.
