Job summary

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products, is seeking a Sr. Test and Validation Technician to ensure quality across software and hardware systems at our Newburgh, IN home office.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience in testing, installation and configuration of products and operation of heavy equipment and machine shop.
• Five or more years of proven experience as a Test Technician or similar role, preferably in sensors and imaging, controls and software development.
• Experience with high voltage and AC/DC Power 800V+ (Desirable).
• Proficient in LabView and NI software and hardware, such as DAQ systems.
• Proficient with programming languages (e.g., LabView) to develop test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Develop a comprehensive testing framework and define testing parameters based on input from the product design team.
• Implement the testing framework to monitor the process, document results, and troubleshoot.
