Benchmark Electronics is seeking a Test Technician to support and debug test processes in manufacturing at Santa Ana, CA. The role involves testing assemblies, maintaining test equipment, and aiding operators while collaborating with Test Engineers to resolve issues.

Candidates should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in reading schematics, and the ability to train diverse groups. This safety-sensitive, full-time position offers a structured shift and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• 2 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic understanding of Test Measurement and Debug Techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Performs debug and test assemblies to component level, as able, utilizing block diagrams and schematics.
• Performs tester maintenance and upkeep.
• Troubleshoots operator problems with leadership on training and process improvements.
• Provides training and ongoing support to the Test operators.
• Communicates problems to Test Engineer and/or leader.
• Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
• Complies with all company security policies and procedures.
