Job summary

Harbor Freight Tools seeks a Test Technician III to support product testing, set up equipment and maintain a clean lab; you will verify conformance to safety standards and prepare written test reports. The role involves working with test fixtures, preparing data, and supporting demos and reviews.

In this position you will learn to operate all lab test equipment, complete testing stages using documented methods, and assist the Category and Sourcing teams with product decisions.

Qualifications

• Assist in product qualification and testing using test fixtures.
• Learn to utilize test equipment in the lab.
• Prepare written test reports from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up test equipment.
• Monitor and test samples.
• Build fixtures for testing.
• Develop autonomy in testing and fixture building.
• Work with electronic testing equipment and environmental chambers.
• Conduct written test reports using Platypus.
• Assist in product reviews with data and charts.
• Maintain the lab and equipment.
• Overtime may be required.
