Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team delivering custom test and measurement solutions for aerospace, defense, and government sectors in Austin, TX. You will develop automated test software and integrate equipment across large-scale test systems.

You will drive instrument drivers, test sequences, and system-level test plans using LabVIEW, TestStand, and related tools, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and traveling as required to support

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required with ability to qualify for DoD security clearances.
Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing test software using LabVIEW and TestStand.
Hands-on experience with PXI-based systems and diverse lab/test equipment interfaces (GPIB/USB/Ethernet/serial).
Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, C#, and/or Python programming.

Responsibilities

Develop instrument drivers, test sequences, and software applications using LabVIEW and TestStand.
Collaborate with customers, sales, architects, engineers, partners, and suppliers on custom solutions.
Develop and implement system-level test plans and manage milestones.
Perform verification and validation of automated tests to ensure coverage and requirements.
Provide software handoff, technical support, and documentation; travel as needed.
