The Senior Test Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of embedded software through the design, execution, and optimization of testing strategies in accordance with DO 178B standards. This position involves mentoring team members, advocating for best practices, and driving improvements in testing methodologies to align with the organizationâs objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Design And Implement Comprehensive Test Plans For Complex Embedded Software Features And Modules, Ensuring Compliance With Do 178B Standards And Traceability To Requirements.
2. 2. Utilize Automation Tools And Frameworks, Such As Jenkins And Robot Framework, To Enhance Test Efficiency And Effectiveness, Advocating For Timely Issue Resolution And Adherence To Quality Assurance Best Practices.
3. 3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects In Embedded Systems, Following Established Procedures And Utilizing Tools Such As Jira For Effective Tracking And Reporting.
4. 4. Collaborate With Developers To Analyze And Prioritize Defect Resolutions, Actively Participating In Test Reviews And Retrospectives To Foster Continuous Improvement And The Sharing Of Best Practices Across Teams.
5. 5. Stay Current With Industry Trends In Testing Technologies And Methodologies, Contributing To The Development And Maintenance Of Robust Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries, While Implementing Innovative Testing Approaches To Address Emerging Software Complexities.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
