Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Test Pilot to join the Test and Evaluation team onsite in St. Augustine, FL with a future temporary assignment in Melbourne, FL.

The role will support E-2D production acceptance flight tests and Foreign Military Sales, based in St Augustine, FL and involving deployment as needed. The successful candidate will lead flight test activities, develop plans, mentor engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safety, quality, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience, or Master of Science with 10 years, or STEM Ph.D. with 8 years.
• Active US Government Secret (or higher) clearance with recent background investigation.
• Ability to obtain/maintain SAP clearance within business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain air vehicle acceptance procedures with technical justification.
• Oversee development of test plans and test cards for safety and efficiency.
• Lead pre-flight briefs coordinating complex testing with aircrew and engineers.
• Lead post-flight debriefs to capture data and lessons learned.
• Execute pilot-in-command flights during test missions.
• Mentor pilots and test engineers.
• Maintain NATOPS and aircrew training materials changes.
