Job summary

Advanced Motion Controls seeks an experienced Test Operations Lead to direct the Test Operators, coordinate daily testing of AMC electronic assemblies, and ensure adherence to procedures, quality, and safety.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Failure Analysis, Test Engineering, and Quality to optimize test capacity, throughput, and on-time customer delivery, while coaching a multi-skilled team and escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electronics testing experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role such as Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Ability to lead, train, direct, and assign work to production employees.
• Working knowledge of electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, Hipot testers, ICT, flying probe).
• Understanding of AC/DC voltage and ability to troubleshoot boards and harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily Test Operator activities.
• Assign and prioritize work based on production schedule and test capacity.
• Communicate daily priorities and quality concerns to the team.
• Monitor shift/workflow and adjust as needed to meet production/shipment needs.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, test procedures, and safety practices.
• Train and develop Test Operators for improved capability and cross-training.
• Escalate issues to appropriate functions and management.
• Maintain organized, compliant Test Operations area.
