Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect management using Jira or Bugzilla.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like C++ or Embedded C.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in functional and technical discussions with clients and teams to understand design specifications and identify performance concerns, ensuring appropriate test environments and infrastructures are maintained.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies and tools, implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and JUnit, ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure to defects.
• Develop, guide, and mentor QA engineers in the use of testing frameworks such as TestNG and Cucumber, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing overall team productivity.
