Latitude AI seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Bench Infrastructure team and scale hardware-in-the-loop test services for autonomous driving tech. You will develop tools to help engineers build, test, and debug autonomy software while addressing stability and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong communication, problem solving, prioritization and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Python and navigating a large codebase.
• Experience designing, developing, and scaling full-stack apps in Kubernetes production.
• Ability to diagnose complex distributed systems and manage technical debt.
• Experience with Linux, networking, distributed filesystems, and SQL/ORMs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software to support hardware-in-the-loop test execution services.
• Deliver streamlined tools for engineers to build, test, and debug autonomy software.
• Identify and resolve stability and security issues across the stack as the platform scales.
• Use performance data to remove inefficiencies in test infrastructure and runtimes.
• Improve scheduling to balance throughput and urgent job prioritization.
• Maintain test logic to ensure reliable execution across diverse hardware.
