Job summary

Intrepid, an SPA Company, seeks a Senior Assistant Test Event Manager to provide Test Engineering support for an Army Project Office at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The role requires planning and executing tests, producing comprehensive test documentation, and collaborating with government civilians, military personnel, and contractors.

The candidate must be a US citizen with a active Secret clearance, able to work in a fast-paced team, and willing to travel to DoD test ranges as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM.
• 15+ years of overall experience in testing/engineering.
• 10+ years test engineering experience in defense/government projects.
• US Secret security clearance required.
• Familiarity with DoD test regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute tests for a complex Air and Missile Defense system for the US Army.
• Participate in SIL, HWIL, Distributed Ground Testing, System Qualification Testing, and Field Testing with a cross-project team.
• Generate pre-test documentation (plans, requirements, procedures) and post-test reports (EXSUMs, incidents).
• Organize weekly Test Planning meetings and prepare test presentations for stakeholders.
• Support major meetings with Program Stakeholders such as T&E WIPTs and travel to DoD ranges.
