Job summary

Marotta Controls is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Test Equipment Engineering to design, develop, integrate, and deploy automated test equipment for use in development and production programs at our Parsippany, NJ location.

You will collaborate with Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and IPT while mentoring engineers and promoting best practices. This role requires a US citizen and offers a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering required.
• 7+ years’ experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design of power and/or electromechanically systems.
• Experience with Environmental Testing including MIL-STD-461(EMI) and/or MIL-STD-810 (Environmental) Testing is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in one or more projects concurrently.
• Experience in executing a project from the beginning to the end.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop test system requirements and test system design specification.
• Develop and present Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
• Develop Validation/Verification Procedures.
• Execute Validation/Verification of test systems.
• Develop Test System Documentation including User’s Manual, System Maintenance and Calibration procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring commonality (modular design) across systems in order to maximize re-usability.
