Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support the fabrication and testing of special and automated test equipment for the PAS business unit.

You will build and verify test equipment, cable harnesses, and test boxes, document results, and collaborate with design engineers to meet requirements and program goals. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred).
• Minimum Associate’s (AAS) degree in electronics technology, or technical certification in a related field (preferred).
• Experience in electronic laboratory work in a design and development engineering environment.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and testing of test equipment, breakout boxes, load boxes, and harnesses/cabling.
• Circuit card assembly, repair, rework and troubleshooting.
• Operate instruments such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, data recorders.
• Able to use and work with schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Component selection and acquisition.
