Job summary

GCyber seeks a Senior Test Engineer to verify secure digital capabilities in a classified federal IT modernization program. You will develop and execute automated and manual tests across ServiceNow and related systems, drive test automation, and ensure quality in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification required.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience leading test design and execution for complex software, cloud, integration, or mission systems.
• Experience with test automation and Agile software delivery.
• Ability to analyze application behavior, interfaces, logs, configurations, and code to isolate defects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, designs, interfaces, and user stories to ensure testability.
• Define test strategies, plans, procedures, data, acceptance criteria, and expected results for ServiceNow and integrated systems.
• Develop automated tests using ServiceNow ATF and approved tools.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, configuration, end-to-end, operational, and user acceptance tests.
• Document results, defects, anomalies, risks, and config changes in Jira and maintain traceability.
• Support sprint planning, reviews, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to resolve defects and improve quality.
• Lead testing for assigned capabilities or releases and coordinate across components.
• Review test cases and evidence, mentor testers, and improve automation coverage.
