Job summary

GCyber seeks a Senior Test Engineer to verify secure digital capabilities within a classified federal IT modernization program. You will lead test design, automation, and validation across ServiceNow and integrated systems in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with developers, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and stakeholders to ensure high quality releases, mentor junior testers, and drive test coverage using ATF, Jira, and CI tools.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Dod 8570/8140 IAT II certification.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, designs, interfaces, and user stories to ensure capabilities are complete and testable.
• Define test strategies, plans, procedures, data, acceptance criteria, and expected results for ServiceNow and integrated system capabilities.
• Develop automated tests using ServiceNow ATF and other approved test tools.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, configuration, end-to-end, operational, and UAT testing.
• Document results, defects, anomalies, risks, and configuration changes in Jira and maintain traceability.
• Support sprint planning, reviews, demonstrations, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, configuration management, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Lead testing for assigned capabilities or releases and coordinate test execution across components.
• Review test cases and mentor less-experienced testers; improve automation and coverage.
