Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a Test Engineer in Hanover, MD with active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance to apply. The role focuses on strong web application testing, test planning, and ownership of testing processes within a collaborative team.

Candidates should have 5+ years of software/system testing experience, familiarity with Agile issue trackers (JIRA/Trac/Redmine), and excellent documentation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software System Testing.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in web application testing.
Experience with Agile software issues tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Trac, Redmine, etc.)

Responsibilities

Design, oversee, and perform software testing.
Lead testing initiatives and take ownership of results.
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
Collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate findings effectively.
Work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality.
