Job summary

Capstone Technology Partners seeks a Mid-Level Test Engineer (SWE1/2) to support the AdmitIT product in Hanover, MD. You will design and execute test plans, implement automated tests, and validate API and UI functionality while maintaining thorough documentation for traceability.

Requires TS/SCI with MD polygraph, 5 years of software engineering experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science (or equivalent). On-site with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on test automation experience with Selenium, Bruno, Cypress.
• Experience with API testing and related tools.
• Comfortable in a Linux environment and able to navigate basics.
• Strong documentation and test planning skills.
• Experience with UAT, functional testing, and accessibility (508).
• Proficient with RVTM, test plans, and traceability matrices.
• Collaborative mindset across the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test scripts.
• Execute manual and automated tests across functional areas.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear repro steps.
• Provide feedback to developers and stakeholders based on results.
• Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and coverage.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design discussions, and sprints.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.
