Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a Test Engineer in Hanover, MD with active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance to apply. The role focuses on strong web application testing, test planning, and ownership of testing processes within a collaborative team.

Candidates should have 5+ years of software/system testing experience, familiarity with Agile issue trackers (JIRA/Trac/Redmine), and excellent documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software System Testing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web application testing.
• Experience with Agile software issues tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Trac, Redmine, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design, oversee, and perform software testing.
• Lead testing initiatives and take ownership of results.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate findings effectively.
