Job summary

SAIC seeks a highly experienced Principal Test Engineer to support the US Space Force in Colorado Springs, focusing on the maintenance and sustainment of radar systems for strategic surveillance. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, coordinate system integration efforts, and drive test automation initiatives to support DevSecOps teams, while aligning with contract requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 9+ years of relevant experience required.
Experience with DOORS for requirements management.
Familiarity with CI/CD environments and Bamboo tooling.
Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket.
Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

Participate, prepare, and execute comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures, and support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews.
Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in testing.
Develop innovative Test Automation solutions and support software development teams focusing on DevSecOps.
Ensure personnel management actions are completed per contract requirements.
