Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in sustaining ground-based radars critical to missile surveillance and defense missions. The role is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, performing ongoing maintenance and system modernization to ensure readiness.

You will generate engineering drawings, calibrate hardware, and coordinate with engineers to sustain subsystems. A Secret clearance and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience sustaining complex military electronic systems.
• Hands-on hardware testing and repair of sophisticated systems.
• Ability to document, report and analyze maintenance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide site and lab maintenance support and troubleshooting.
• Perform on-site EDLM/UDLM to resolve critical issues.
• Generate ASME/IEEE drawings, rack elevations and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain LRUs in a lab environment per specifications.
• Support system integration, test, development and execution of complex communications systems.
