Job summary

SAIC seeks a Principal Test Engineer in Colorado Springs to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, and sustain ground-based radars critical to missile and space surveillance missions. The role involves developing and executing system test solutions to ensure test plans are accurate and complete.

You will lead test planning, integration testing, and test automation efforts aligned with DevSecOps, while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 9+ years relevant experience.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools (Bamboo).
• Experience with version control (Bitbucket).
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures.
• Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
• Support system integration testing and software/hardware testing.
• Develop innovative test automation solutions supporting DevSecOps teams.
• Ensure personnel actions are completed per contract requirements.
