Job summary

Sanmina Corporation seeks a qualified engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective test methods for complex RF and digital systems. You will prepare test plans, troubleshoot, and document defects for engineering teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency with Linux and Python. Travel and collaboration with customers and internal teams are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience with Linux and Python scripting is required.
• Experience with ATE products and Test Interface Units is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test plans, maintenance procedures, and test instructions.
• Troubleshoot by following procedures and documenting defects clearly.
• Identify design deficiencies and communicate with customers.
• Manage test development schedules and code/software upgrades with teams.
• Train technicians on new test stations and support RF/Digital design debugging.
• Support software installation, data collection, and configuration tasks.
• Assist manufacturing implementation with facility layout planning.
• Drive test/process improvements to reduce top defects.
• Interface with customers for proposals, quotes, and new business development.
• Oversee pilot runs for NPI and provide feedback.
