Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in California seeks an experienced Test Engineer to develop production, qualification and characterization test programs for WLAN, Bluetooth, and UWB SOC devices on Advantest and Teradyne ATE platforms. You will work from design kick-off to production release, debug yield and performance issues, and push new DFT concepts to improve test efficiency and reduce cost.

Qualifications

• Master's or BS in CS/EE with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven and able to take ownership of all project aspects.
• Strong programming background in C++, Java, and Visual Basic.
• RF and mmWave testing experience is a big plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop production, qualification and characterization test programs for WLAN, BT, and UWB system on a chip (SOC) devices on ATE (Advantest 93K/Exascale, Teradyne UFLEX/UFLEX+).
• Test development from design kick-off to production release.
• Debug design and process related yield and performance problems.
• Develop new DFT concepts and test techniques to improve test efficiency and reduce cost of test.
• Collaborate with Design, Systems, and Software teams to drive RF/analog test methods and device design implementations.
• Work across product lines to drive new DFT and Test Engineering approaches.
