Job summary

Mercury Insurance is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to own the testing strategy for large, complex software projects. You will design test plans, develop automated scripts, and drive automation-first approaches within CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, expand test coverage, analyze metrics, and collaborate with product and development teams to deliver high-quality software. Preferred candidates have 8+ years in testing and strong automation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/CE/IS or related field.
• 8+ years in testing leadership on medium-sized projects.
• 3+ years writing complex automation tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and strategies for large projects.
