Job summary

Texas Instruments in Dallas seeks a Texas Instruments Test and Product Engineer to lead ATE test development for mixed-signal ICs across automotive and industrial markets.

You will collaborate with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability to drive qualification, yield improvement, and test time optimization. Strong data analysis and lab skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (V93K, J750HD, UFLEX) preferred.
• Production ATE test program and hardware development experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits and analog test techniques.
• Data analysis skills using Spotfire or STDF.
• Experience with lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, SMU, loads.
• Experience with product engineering activities such as product transfer and yield improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test hardware and software for a broad range of ICs.
• Collaborate with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability teams.
• Perform qualification & characterization to meet product specs and manufacturing needs.
• Work with failure analysis to identify root causes of reliability and qualification failures.
• Develop and qualify technologies for new manufacturing facilities.
• Address customer quality, yield, and cost reduction issues with global facilities.
• Analyze customer returns and drive test coverage improvements.
• Analyze yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues, optimize test time.
