Astronics CSC in Kent, WA is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join the development team for VIP/VVIP In Flight Entertainment and Cabin Management Systems. You will work with Systems and Software Engineers to create manual and automated test plans, verify software functionality, and write defects in JIRA.

The role emphasizes lab configuration, troubleshooting, Python automation, and production test procedures, with a BS in engineering and 5+ years in system testing preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read technical specs to configure and hookup complex systems in lab environment.

• Verification of Software fixes/closing out of JIRAs.
• Python automation scripting for system verification.
• Write Manual Test Procedures based on requirements and verify in SIL.
• Write Automated Test Procedures based on requirements and verify in SIL.
• Write Manual and Automated test procedures for Production.
