Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability and lifetime of our iron‑air packs and deployed systems. This role reports into our Systems Reliability team, in Berkeley CA. You will support reliability test development and design for reliability for several of our pack‑level subsystems.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Reliability Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of industry experience in reliability or test development.
• Experience with liquid and gas handling systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to develop accelerated life tests across operating conditions.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Design for Reliability for mechanical subsystems that support iron-air battery operation.
• Translate reliability risks into actionable test plans to uncover failure mechanisms and root causes.
• Be a champion for safety in design and testing activities.
