Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in the San Diego area to support DoD Navy systems. The role involves planning, coordinating, executing and documenting test & evaluation activities across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate has an active Secret clearance, 8+ years in engineering with 4+ years in test & evaluation, and strong DoD processes knowledge. Hybrid work arrangement, competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or related field; 8+ years DoW-related engineering experience.
• 8+ years engineering experience for DoW systems and 4+ years test & evaluation experience.
• Experience developing test plans, procedures, reports, performance measures and requirements-traceability products.
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition, systems engineering, verification, validation, configuration-management and risk-management processes.
• Written and verbal communication skills to advise stakeholders and authorities on security requirements and trends.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development and execution of integrated test and evaluation strategies for communications and navigation systems, subsystems, software, equipment and platform integration.
• Support the program’s APMs, Lead Engineers, Test IPT and coordinate Test & Evaluation efforts.
• Plan, coordinate and support Developmental Test and Evaluation, Operational Test and Evaluation, interoperability testing, integration testing and cybersecurity testing.
• Develop, review and maintain Test and Evaluation Master Plans, test strategies, test plans, test procedures, test readiness review materials, test reports and related documentation.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders such as OPTEVFOR, JITC, NAVWAR and program offices as required.
• Lead the development of required testing deliverables and TRR artifacts and support Systems Engineering Reviews.
