Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in a hybrid role based in San Diego. The position supports DoD Navy programs, requiring an active Secret clearance and compliance with E-Verify.

The role involves planning, executing, and documenting test activities across development and operational stages. The ideal candidate will lead test strategies, coordinate with program managers and engineering teams, and produce detailed test documentation and readiness reviews.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, physics or math with 8+ years in DoD systems.
• Experience developing test plans, procedures, reports and performance measures.
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition, systems engineering and risk-management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to advise stakeholders on security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development and execution of test and evaluation strategies for communications and navigation systems and hardware integration.
• Plan, coordinate and support Developmental, Operational, interoperability and regression testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, reports and TRR artifacts.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders, including OPTEVFOR, JITC, fleet representatives and labs.
• Support test events across laboratory, platform, flight and shipboard environments and analyze data to identify risks.
• Lead delivery of testing artifacts and support Systems Engineering Reviews.
