Qualified candidates will have extensive QA, test automation, and CI/CD experience, including Docker/Kubernetes, Selenium, and test tooling, with current PT clearance. The role emphasizes secure, automated testing and continuous improvement in Steampunk’s Federal contracting context.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey to developers.
• Meet with the product design team to determine testing parameters.
• Write test plans, create test cases, procedures, bug reports, and QA reports.
• Manage test data architecture and requests.
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline test procedures.
• Analyze test results and code quality across multiple testing domains (data validation, functional, performance/load, usability, accessibility).
• Establish automated testing tools and infrastructure for test automation.
• Validate testing across cloud migrations and data sets.
• Develop automated scripts with parallelization and idempotency.
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure processes are followed.
• Document as-is state, perform gap analyses, and produce option artifacts.
• Leverage virtualization/containerization to optimize testing.
• Support continuous DevSecOps process improvements and tooling.
• Present status updates and provide cross-training to team members.
• Act as individual contributor and mentor junior teammates.
