Job summary

ASX is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join its QE&T team in Australia. You will design, build and maintain a test automation suite using Java and Python, work with Gherkin, Jira and Confluence, and collaborate with developers, BAs and analysts to improve quality.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to impact financial markets technology. Candidates should have 4–5 years in test automation and a strong foundation in automation

Qualifications

4–5 years of experience in test automation.
Experience with test automation principles and strategies.
Designed, built and maintained test automation frameworks using JAVA.
Designed, built and maintained test automation frameworks using Python.
In-depth testing in a structured environment.
Experience with system, integration, regression, end-to-end and parallel testing.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain a test automation suite using Java, Python, gherkin and bamboo.
Plan and develop a quality test approach, test design and test cases for systems under this team.
Implement and execute test cases per documented design and timelines.
Document results and report defects.
Collaborate with BAs, Developers, Support Analysts and Stakeholders to communicate status.
