Job summary

Nasdaq is seeking a QA Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our equities trading software. Report to the Senior Director, you will validate that products meet functional and regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with engineers to grow your QA expertise, contribute to test planning, and help drive continuous improvements across testing workflows and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IS or related field.
• 0-2 years of software quality assurance/testing experience; internships/projects count.
• Proficiency with Python and pytest for automated tests.
• Familiarity with AWS and Git; knowledge of CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience with Linux/macOS and understanding of client-server concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality control tests and analyses to verify software meets standards and requirements.
• Create and manage test data files to validate logic and edge cases.
• Collaborate with development and project teams to plan, execute, and document test phases.
• Maintain quality standards for processes, including standard procedures and audits.
• Contribute to QA workflow improvements and automated testing efforts.
