Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a QA Engineer to drive testing across Web/Windows/API platforms. You will develop automated test frameworks, design test plans, and partner with Product Management and Engineering to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

This role emphasizes automation, performance testing, and data integrity within an Agile environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in software testing, strong Python/Java skills, experience with Selenium/Appium, and knowledge of REST/SOAP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software testing or development with strong testing mindset.
• Experience in Python/Java or similar languages.
• Experience in automated test development using tools like Selenium or Appium across UI/Service/Data layers.
• Experience with SOAP/REST services and SOA.
• Exposure to SQL/PL-SQL and data quality testing.
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps and containerized testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.
• Design, implement and run test plans and cases; report results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver on-time, quality features.
• Act as test lead, planning work and assigning tasks to meet deadlines.
• Guide project staff with strong testing skills and ensure best practices.
