Job summary

RIVA Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation for the P-TACTS program in a DevSecOps environment.

The ideal candidate builds automation frameworks from scratch, integrates testing into CI/CD, and performs security, performance, and compliance testing while collaborating with developers, security, and operations to drive quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience designing and maintaining code-based automation tools.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and QA best practices.
• Hands-on BDD with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Agile QA/Test Engineer experience.
• Proficiency in Java scripting and building automation frameworks.
• Solid Java testing methodologies.
• Selenium/WebDriver UI automation and Postman REST API testing.
• Jira and Confluence for bug tracking.
• Web app testing of front-end and back-end.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise apps.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certified

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans and strategies for P-TACTS DevSecOps.
• Design and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform security testing including static/dynamic analysis and vulnerability scans.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing.
• Use monitoring tools to evaluate performance metrics.
• Manage test environments mirroring production.
• Collaborate with Dev, Security, Ops to integrate testing.
• Produce test reports and track defects.
• Enhance API testing and perform manual UI tests.
• Document test processes and quality metrics using Rally and GitLab.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and planning.
