Wolfspeed in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Test Bench Development Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced test benches for reliability validation of SiC power modules. You will own the hardware development lifecycle, create schematics and PCBs, and perform LTspice analyses to optimize performance prior to fabrication.

You will collaborate with Reliability, Product, and Applications teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in electrical hardware design and development.
• Experience designing multilayer analog and mixed-signal PCBs.
• Experience with circuit simulation and LTspice.
• Hands-on use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators.
• Experience debugging hardware at board and system levels.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced test benches for reliability validation.
• Partner with Reliability, Product, and Applications to translate objectives into hardware/software solutions.
• Own hardware development lifecycle from schematic capture to release.
• Create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Perform circuit simulation and LTspice analyses to validate designs before fabrication.
• Develop and evaluate analog, mixed-signal, and power circuitry for accuracy and stability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrumentation issues to maximize test system availability.
• Document designs, procedures, and changes; support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and implement new technologies to enhance test capabilities.
