Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Test Automation Engineer to support VESEE 2.0, VistA REE, and EDB/IVM modernization for the VA. The role designs, develops, and maintains automated test solutions across enterprise applications using Tosca, NeoLoad, and QTest, collaborating with development, DevOps, and QA teams to embed testing in CI/CD pipelines.

Fully remote in the United States, the position emphasizes automating functional, regression, API, and performance tests, data-driven validation with Oracle SQL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years experience in software testing.
• Tricentis AS1/AS2 or TDS1/TDS2 certification.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca automated testing.
• API testing for REST/json services.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Experience with GitHub, Jira, QTest.
• Performance testing with NeoLoad or similar.
• Oracle SQL for test validation.
• Understanding SDLC, Agile, and DevOps.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites.
• Design performance/load tests with NeoLoad.
• Create automated API contract tests.
• Integrate testing into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate functionality and data across systems.
• Develop data-driven test scenarios with Oracle SQL.
• Monitor test execution and analyze results.
• Maintain test assets and documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and DevOps.
• Support AI-assisted test generation where appropriate.
