Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Test Automation Engineer to support the VHA Enrollment System modernization efforts. This role designs, develops, and maintains automated tests using Tosca, NeoLoad, and QTest, and works with DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines across enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or commensurate experience.
• Experience with automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca.
• API testing experience for REST services and JSON-based apps.
• Experience integrating tests into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, and QTest.
• Ability to design and execute performance tests with NeoLoad or similar tools.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise test automation solutions.
• Design automated test frameworks and suites.
• Execute performance, load, and endurance tests.
• Automate API contract tests for REST services.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins & GitHub.
• Validate functionality, business rules, and data processing across systems.
• Create data-driven test scenarios using Oracle SQL.
• Monitor test execution and analyze results to identify defects.
• Maintain test assets, repositories, and documentation for sustainment.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and DevOps to ensure coverage.
