Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Enrollment System (VESEE 2.0), VistA REE, and EDB/IVM modernization efforts. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions across enterprise applications and interfaces.

The ideal candidate will implement automated test frameworks, build functional and performance test suites, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with Tosca, NeoLoad, and QTest while

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and 12+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca and API testing for REST/JSON.
• Experience integrating automated testing into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, and QTest.
• Experience in performance testing with NeoLoad or similar tools.
• Ability to write Oracle SQL for test validation and data-driven testing.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise test automation solutions for CI/CD delivery.
• Design automated test frameworks and build functional/performance test suites.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and support end-to-end QA.
• Validate functionality, business rules, API integrations, and data processing.
• Create data-driven test scenarios using Oracle SQL and datasets.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results, and support defect resolution.
• Maintain test assets, repositories, and documentation for sustainment.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and DevOps engineers for coverage.
• Support AI-assisted test generation and automation where appropriate.
