Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join the Digital Experience team in Bloomington, IL. This role focuses on automating tests for the Auto & Fire Quote & Purchase Suite, with P&C insurance domain experience and full stack testing across Python, Spark, NodeJS, AngularJS/ReactJS, and Java J2EE.

The position offers hybrid work, a 40-hour week, and an opportunity to advance testing strategy, build scalable automation, and collaborate with onsite/offshore teams while

Qualifications

• P&C insurance experience required.
• Experience testing customer-facing applications.
• Full Stack development experience: Python, PySpark, Scala, Spark, NodeJS, AngularJS/ReactJS, Java J2EE.
• Experience with AWS services and Terraform Enterprise.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and IaC.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather testing requirements for application features.
• Design and build functional and non-functional test cases.
• Develop and automate test scripts.
• Execute automated and manual test scripts.
• Validate and document test results.
• Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and performance issues.
• Improve testing strategy, processes, and technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in onsite/offshore delivery.
