Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Test Automation Engineer III for a hybrid role based in Washington state. You will validate, test, troubleshoot, and improve networking products, developing automation tools and test frameworks in Python, and working with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Development teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong software testing background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn networking technologies quickly; you will contribute

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in networking, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in networking, validation, testing, or quality engineering.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Python scripting and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and validation procedures for networking products and solutions.
• Perform feature, system, integration, and regression testing to ensure product quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex networking and software issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Python.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Quality Engineering teams.
• Participate in validation of networking reference designs and customer deployments.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects through resolution.
• Contribute to release readiness and product quality initiatives.
• Create technical documentation and validation reports.
