Job summary

KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design and drive scalable automated verification across complex medical device software. You will mentor teams, shape automation strategy, and ensure compliant product development within a regulated setting.

Responsibilities include leading automation framework efforts, integrating tests into CI/CD, and delivering robust verification solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 8+ years of test engineering experience.
• 5+ years of test automation experience.
• Strong experience with Python, Java, or C# and automation tools.
• Experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for system and software verification.
• Lead automation strategy and framework development across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and verification teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and promote automation best practices.
• Support compliance and audit readiness through proper test documentation.
