Job summary

KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG is seeking a Design Verification Test Engineer to verify and validate medical devices, ensuring quality, performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop verification plans, execute procedures, document results, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering foundation, hands-on testing experience, and excellent documentation and communication skills to support product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field with relevant experience.
• Experience developing and executing engineering test plans and procedures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with environmental testing methods and equipment.
• Knowledge of medical device quality systems and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design verification test plans and procedures.
• Document and report verification results clearly in a regulated environment.
• Investigate issues and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Review specifications to ensure testability and measurability.
• Support test fixtures, environmental testing, and equipment evaluation.
• Train other engineers on verification procedures and QA protocols.
