Job summary

Karl Storz Endoscopy is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated verification solutions across complex medical device systems. You will drive automation strategy, mentor teams, and ensure compliant product development in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include leading framework development, integrating tests into CI/CD, and promoting best practices while ensuring audit readiness and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of test engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of test automation experience.
  • Strong experience with Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Robot Framework.
  • Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and system verification processes.
  • Experience with Git/version control systems.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical devices.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

About the Role

This role will drive automation strategy, mentor engineering teams, and support high-quality, compliant product development within a regulated medical device environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for system and software verification

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
