Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Test/Software Engineer to maintain and enhance our testing infrastructure and datalink software used in Test and Training programs. This onsite role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment and to investigate hardware/software interactions.

You will contribute to software development test automation, participate in troubleshooting build failures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable training

Qualifications

Linux administration experience.
Bamboo/Bitbucket/Atlassian suite.
Automation experience (build scripts and Python).
Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve our critical testing infrastructure.
Investigate failures in the build systems and develop unique solutions to solve problems.
Work with the team on our datalink software for our Test and Training programs.
