Job summary

Farm Family is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our P&C Quality Assurance and Test Automation team in the United States. You will report to the Manager of P&C QA and leverage automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability of policy systems.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, collaborating with Agile teams to design tests, executing in CI pipelines, and producing dashboards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Six to eight years of experience in software development or test automation, with a minimum of five years focusing on designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for complex business systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages used in test automation (Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#).
• Experience with open source and/or proprietary test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Tosca.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web and API applications.
• Engage with Agile teams to design effective test cases.
• Execute testing within CI pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and improve test environments, tests, and data management.
• Implement and maintain test reporting and dashboards for visibility into coverage and results.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold quality standards.
• Prepare documentation for automated testing solutions and training materials.
• Develop estimates for time and cost related to test automation development and operations.
• Collaborate with Test Automation Architect to translate objectives into testing solutions.
• Stay current with emerging tools and technologies.
