Job summary

Mettler Toledo AG in the United States (Columbia, MD) is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and own automated test coverage for AutoChem software products.

You will partner with software developers, product managers, and project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle and serve as the local expert coordinating automation work carried out by our globally distributed testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for AutoChem software products.
• Own the test automation framework end to end, extending it to meet product needs.
• Manage automated test source, pipelines, and work items within Azure DevOps.
• Analyze software architecture for testability and collaborate with developers on design decisions.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions with developers.
• Define and track quality metrics to drive continuous improvement in automated testing.
• Serve as the local SME for globally distributed test automation resources and prioritize defects.
