Job summary

Merck is seeking a Senior Territory Representative to drive growth for the cattle portfolio in Nebraska & Iowa. You will call on territory-based customers, coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager, and manage assigned accounts to deliver value and innovative solutions aligned with our Animal Health strategy.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in animal health sales, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed. Residence within the territory is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of animal health sales experience is required.
• Experience in beef markets is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable results.
• Must be able to travel overnight minimum 50% depending on geography and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent Animal Health within a geographical base across beef segments.
• Promote Sense Hub as a value add and expertise of Animal Health.
• Coordinate with territory managers and regional management to plan and execute sales initiatives.
• Identify customers that could benefit from Sense Hub monitoring and enlist support to pursue opportunities.
• Plan internal and external interactions to transfer knowledge and share best practices.
