Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in the Omaha area is seeking a Territory Senior Sales Representative for Beef Monitoring in the Upper Midwest. The role covers Nebraska and Iowa, with remote work and travel about 50% to support customer pull-through and territory growth.

You will collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Animal Health teams, and distribution partners to drive the cattle portfolio and deliver value through Sense Hub and related offerings. Strong sales experience in animal health is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of animal health sales experience is required.
• Experience in beef markets is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable results.
• Must be able to travel overnight minimum 50% depending on geography and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent our Animal Health within a base made up of beef complex segments.
• Promote Sense Hub as a value add and expertise of our Animal Health.
• Plan and implement the sales planning process with territory managers and regional management.
• Identify customers for Sense Hub monitoring in the territory base and enlist support from Animal Health resources.
• Plan internal and external interactions to transfer knowledge and share best practices.
• Collaborate with Technical Service and Customer Success to create value propositions and increase sales.
• Communicate and share best practices with the Strategic Accounts Team.
• Create account-specific business plans and analyze monthly sales results within budget.
