Senior Territory Production Underwriter | Remote

Our client, a highly rated insurance carrier, is continuing to grow its underwriting organization and is seeking a Senior Territory Production Underwriter to join their Commercial Casualty team. This role is responsible for underwriting and pricing both new and renewal business within the Excess & Surplus (E&S) marketplace, with a strong emphasis on production, territory development, and profitability.

Pay Information

• Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr (King's Insurance Staffing provided pay range)
• $130,000 – $160,000+ base salary, plus a lucrative production bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price complex E&S commercial casualty risks, including coverage, terms, and conditions
• Evaluate risk acceptability by analyzing exposures and underwriting data to support sound decision-making
• Actively market the territory through producer and wholesale broker visits
• Build and maintain strong producer relationships to support retention and profitable growth
• Achieve production, profitability, and loss ratio goals within the assigned territory
• Monitor market conditions and competitive trends to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Commercial Casualty underwriting experience, preferably within the E&S / surplus lines market
• Proven Production Underwriting and/or Territory Marketing experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risks
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Fully remote role with flexible scheduling
